Best Female Theatre Actor

Gold Winner Kathryn McCormack

Silver Winner Andrea Norwood

Bronze Winner Lee-Anne Poole

“This year was essentially the year of me playing myself onstage, so this award is pretty much a sham,” writes the hilarious and modest Kathryn McCormack from the road. Before skipping town for the winter (she’s touring the US with the Mermaid Theatre June) she wowed the city with a summer of standout performances. “Working with Misery Loves Theatre on the Perfection of Man was definitely a highlight—I'm a sucker for collective pieces—and playing Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing with Shakespeare by the Sea just felt so comfortable.” Sham or not, we’d put the spotlight on McCormack any day.
