“Over the moon, we are,” says Argyle Fine Art’s Adriana Afford of the gallery’s first first-place BOH finish since 2008. The Barrington Street community-centric contemporary art space recognizes variety is the spice of life, and fills its two levels with everything from prints and paintings to jewellery and rayguns. “Our window displays, our exhibits and workshops can be serious, but almost always with a touch of whimsy,” Afford says. “Life is too short---and we want art to be for EVERYONE and we love exploring new works and new mediums too. There’s nothing better than seeing people happy and engaged with the artwork.”
