Dio Mio is practically a Halifax institution now, having started in Walter Forsyth's kitchen in 1990 and moved into its current location on Brenton just off Spring Garden in 1996, now managed by Jay Roche. With a new location in Dartmouth Crossing open a year, more people are getting to try the insane variety of refreshing gelato flavours than ever. And that is as it should be.
