Taj Mahal continues to thrive in the south end of Halifax. Almost a year-and-a-half after salvaging the remains and starting over from fire damage, Taj still has the right stuff. These days the only things burning are the staff’s ears, with the menu being talked about all over town. Sit in and choose from an array of Indian delectables such as the chicken korma, Taj signature peshwari naan and, one of Chef Sam Jaggi’s specials, the shahi paneer.
