It’s a first Best of Music win for Noyes Records, who made a lot of, well, noise last year. While on tour with The Medium Mood, Chad Peck, who runs Noyes, lists some of the label’s highlights. “Five of our bands making it into the Pop Explosion; the Medium Mood CD release at the Marquee; an acoustic Got to Get Got set where Mark Mullane led the entire crowd around a few blocks of New Glasgow playing TGTGG songs and old Norts covers; the Noyes/No Scene showcase at the Khyber; the excellent records we released; getting regional and national airplay...the list goes on.” Peck gets all warm and fuzzy about his fellow Noysers: “Noyes Records would not exist without the 10 or so people who constantly contribute their talent to the project. As much as my name is linked to this thing, it truly is a group effort of great friends who share whatever they have to make things move forward. I love these people. Really, I do.”
