“I would eat it every day for the rest of my life,” says Patrick Gaetz about Ristorante aMano’s spaghettini con polpette, and he’s not alone. That’s the fan-favourite dish on the eatery’s expansive pasta menu, thanks to its spicy meatballs, bocconcini, parm and—oh right—the homemade noodles it all sits on. That commitment to handmade everything, in combination with the toasty, cozy atmosphere, keeps people coming back in droves to this Bertossi Group restaurant, which also takes home the Best Italian award. Gaetz, a longtime employee and current general manager at aMano, says it feels like home. If, of course, home is some trattoria in the rolling hills of Tuscany.
