Best Place To End Your Night

Pizza Corner: Grafton & Blowers

“It’s an iconic street corner in Halifax,” says Paul MacKinnon, executive director of the Downtown Halifax Business Commission, about our voters’ favourite place to end their night. “Pizza Corner is definitely one of the things that makes Halifax special.” Well known by native Haligonians, as well as by people who came here to study, Pizza Corner is “a mecca” for pizza and donair lovers from all walks of life, says MacKinnon. And don’t despair if you feel your Pizza Corner days are behind you. “It’s not just for the late night crowd,” says MacKinnon. “I’ve seen older people heading down to Pizza Corner earlier in the night.” Turns out there’s no age-limit (or curfew) on loving a hot slice or a fat donair.
