Josh Hogan runs Diminished Fifth Records and Hogan Media Relations. He sings in the band, Orchid's Curse and still has a day job. Though Hogan is modest, the metalpreneur is a huge reason why the Atlantic Canadian metal scene is finally getting the attention it deserves. After petitioning the ECMAs to get more recognition for earplug-popping bands, a Loud Recording of the Year category was introduced in 2009 (won by Diminished Fifth's Iron Giant), and the Loud showcase has become one of the most popular draws of the weekend. Talk about being the change.
First runner-up: Jeremy MacNeil
