Haliwood Insider received an email from Brian Power, formerly vice-president at the PowerPost facility on Granville, which offered editing and mixing services to locally shot film, video and TV, but closed in 2010. "After the demise of PowerPost, at least two of the former staff have set up 'boutique' post shops in town," he writes. "I have created 'Cottage Lunch Consulting,' a firm that in the past 12 months provided audio mixing services to the Vancouver Olympics, the Vancouver Paralympics, The Singapore Youth Olympics and locally, the feature, Afghan Luke, and TV series such as 22 Minutes and Land and Sea."Power goes on to announce that he's hooked a gig as technical director for Celebration Square at the 2011 Canada Games, and has acquired the only Digidesign Icon mixing platform in the region.
