Remarks: On a top-secret mission to photograph the bridge, there just happened to be some repairs going on. A friendly construction worker quiets our concerns by telling us they simply use whatever green paint they can find. But what about our complicated conspiracy theories? Sigh. We call the HDBC and find out something else: It’s the same colour green, but some coats are so old they’ve turned darker. Now for our proposal: Create a new, more radical, colour completely unique to the bridge that will tint MACPasses and promotional t-shirts alike. It’s one hell of an idea, and it’s yours for free. Macdonald Bridge magenta will be the new black, and it will be so worth it.
