A hunk of curb is missing near the corner of Oxford and Oak Streets.

Remarks: If this sidewalk were a giant set of teeth (it’s not so hard to imagine…all those side-by-side off-white rectangles could be mistaken for chompers), this would be the X-ray that the dentist would soberly examine just before announcing, “Oxford Street, I’m afraid you’ve got gingivitis.” The curb’s demise might have something to do with its close proximity to a Metro Transit bus stop—those giant tires have a way of wearing down curbs. Hopefully, Streets and Roads Services aren’t too swamped with spring pothole-filling requests to handle an occasional curb refurbishment (or curbfurb, for short).
