Remarks: We called NSP about the problem. After a minute or two of calming muzak, a customer service rep happily took our complaint, and said that when it comes to wire repairs, they always send out a crew, even if they aren’t certain that it’s their responsibility. If it turns out to be an Aliant gaffe, NSP will let ‘em know---which saves us from calling Aliant (and from even more muzak). Inter-corporate communication, huzzah!
Who's Responsible?: Depending on what travels through the wire (volts or voices), it could be Nova Scotia Power (428-6230) or Aliant (611).
