Brown Girl Begins screening

The Canadian Museum of Immigration honours Canadian Film Day with a screening of this dystopic flick that sees Ti-Jeanne risk death to protect a forsaken island off the coast of Toronto in the year 2049. This screening also doubles as the kickoff to the eighth annual Emerging Lens cultural Film Festival, which sees diverse stories screened in a smattering of locations from April 18-22.
