A coffee and chocolate shop, Choco Cafe (1360 Lower Water Street, 407-8844) is where the Mu Lan Tea House used to operate, just on the corner of Bishop. It's a new storefront operated by Lama Issa, who runs Chocolates By Design, a home-based business, along with brother Rami Issa and husband Omar Khartabil. The cafe offers gourmet wrapped chocolates that can be purchased individually or as a bunch for wedding gifts. Choco Cafe also serves fair trade coffee, tea, hot chocolate and has great opening hours, from 6:30am to midnight-ish, if you're needing a late-night chocolate infusion down near the waterfront.
