Claire Greenshaw: The World Has A You Shaped Hole In It

When: June 13-July 24 2014

Employing a broad range of media including sculpture, drawing and photography, The World Has You Shaped Hole In It explores perception, space and scale. Greenshaw’s artwork uses humour and strategies of appropriation to explore and destabilize perception as the materials and images reveal their illusionary qualities. This collection of work examines the way we see things, how we understand ourselves and our environment and the inevitable breaches of logic that occur when we try to reconcile our interior, subjective space and our external, corporeal existence.
