Climate Change in Canada

Dr. Tom Duck will give a talk discussing Canadian Climate change and the Maritimes’s part in this. He is an Associate Professor in Dalhousie University’s Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science and has extensive knowledge regarding air quality and the Arctic Climate. Dr. Duck will discuss Environment Canada’s ozone program and Dalhousie’s Atmospheric-Optics Lab cutbacks and the potential to create awareness of and resolve this issue. A few of his credits include fellow of Broadbent Institute, running the Dunn Building’s atmospheric observatory and co-investigating the 2008 Phoenix Mars Scout Mission.
