Re: “Heartless, Greedy, Swindling A**holes

It's your fault for not pre-ordering mooonths ago. And no one is a bad person for setting a high price on a PS4, that's business. It's in high demand so it catches a high value. Also in the end, you say you're getting one anyway...so, WTF? :P

By the way, it may anger you further to know there is no true shortage of PS4's. They just stagger the release of the system to create more demand. I'm waiting to buy it until more games come out personally.

Re: “Don't expect to pay less just 'cause you make less

I skimmed this over like 3 times in disbelief before confirming that OB really is complaining about not being able to scam her friend. Wow. Glad the single lady was able to get away from this crazy bunch in time. She should be happy she didn't go on that vacation...

Re: “Pain Management

.... I hope you're just trolling and aren't actually that cruel, no_fool. ("Face it your an addict and the doctor is on to your fakin' (fibromyalgia) Everybody knows that "disease" is a crock of shit. Get wit da sufferin'... LIFE is pain!") Fibro is very real, though not as understood as other diseases. And it isn't something you can fake, there are many physical signs of fibro. It isn't something you can just 'suffer' through and marijuana itself wouldn't be enough. You should really educate yourself before you flap your lips everywhere. Invisible disease sufferers do not need people with your attitude around when they're just trying to get through a day. Life is pain? I guarantee you haven't experienced any true pain for you to be talking so callously.

I won't feed the trolls any more than this, won't be visiting this thread again; I just find that really fucking sad. I'm going to go call my grandmother who has suffered from fibro for many years now, tell her I love her and that I hope she has a good day. Spreading positivity to those who are suffering is much more valuable than the nonsensical word vomit you spew.

Re: “Pain Management

So much respect for your posts, Batshit. I understand what youre going through, really. I have only left my house probably 20 times this year tops for groceries, doctor visits, and the occasional family or friend visitation. I am on loads of pills, I tried alternatives for years before I gave in (I do not like most medications due to their addictive potential and side effects.) The pain is a lot more managed now but I am always wary. I guess it has been long enough now that I think I can say Im not going to become an addict.

Best part about the painkillers is being able to sleep again.

Addicts fucking suck as they make it harder for people like us. I didnt have trouble because of my long ass history but I have known other chronic sufferers who have.

Re: “My Dog Is Not A Villain

Our family used to have the sweetest pitbull, 100% agree it's about the owner and not the dog. Although it was funny as Halifax's wannabe gangsters were always TERRIFIED of her. (Didn't live in the nicest area of town back then.) The stigma of the breed hid the fact she was a giant baby from them, I felt so safe walking that dog. :P

Re: “Halifucks

The first sentence of my comment had nothing to do with reading The Coast, Hoist. I was talking generally. I found people judgmental LONG BEFORE I started reading this magazine. That's why I said the world is judgmental and not 'God damn there are some judgmental people in The Coast's LTWWB forums!' It's human nature to be judgmental. I'm not exempted from the rule. Sometimes we all get frustrated with it, especially when people are over the top.

Re: “Dear Bad Parent Named Halifax...

Yep, and I do think we should legislate all that!

Just kidding. You're right, I hadn't thought of it that way.

Re: “The Fireside Restaurant

I ate here with my family, some friends and my fiance today and we had a great experience! The food was amazing, we had a range of appetizers and entrees, the steak was perfect. The peppercorn sauce was delicious. I had the spring rolls with the citrus sauce and it was AMAZING. I'm going back soon for them. My brother's prime rib sandwich was also really good. It was also a great atmosphere and the staff was attentive, but it was a slow afternoon. It was so nice inside (too hot on a day like today to go on the patio!) we ended up staying much longer than we normally do.

Everyone should try it at least once!
