To the editor,
What an interesting letter! ("Cookie dough intake related to exclamation point usage," October 20) From this I learned:
1. Ms. MacDonald has an overweight son and it's due to his life at home.
2. She likes exclamation points, and has no idea how to use them.
3. She is totally rotted out by the fact that her son can't eat leftovers for school lunches. Keep in mind these are the leftovers from the same meals that she states are contributing to his weight problems.
4. Cookie dough is health food.
I'm not sure what her point was, and I'm not sure what pointing out her son's weight issues (could she humiliate him any further?) have to do with the fact her product may no longer be available through school fundraising.
By the way, I'm a Quickie Dough fan, but it's not on my health food list, that's for sure!
