    Re: “Common problems
You are an adept problem pointer-outer Ms. Simmonds, however this article could have used something in the form of solutions for these problems. What do you expect the city to do to rectify these intersections?

Remember OB, if you're within 2 car lengths of the intersection when the light turns you are LEGALLY compelled to go through the intersection. Otherwise you are stopping quickly and suddenly and forcing the vehicle behind you to do the same, which can lead to the very situation you found yourself in. No, the other driver should not have yelled at you, but be aware of the status of your green light. At that intersection there are the timers on the walk phase which are invaluable to determine if you have to stop or not.

I too have been a passenger for years and I've rode so many buses that I've had a few negative experiences over a thousand or more trips. Much the same way that you would have some bad experiences at McDonalds if your fat ass went there a thousand times.

The pension costs 200 a week. Don't tell me I don't pay into my future.

I was with him until he said raise minimum wage and build more public housing. Those will do nothing except continue the cycle of poverty, except a few more people will have a place to live, a small step in the right direction but nowhere near a be-all-end-all solution. A maximum wage on paper seems like a great idea until you realize it will likely be set at $10,000/hr by those who control such things. I do like the idea of more co-op housing there isn't nearly enough of that here.

I hate it when people blame the principal for everything that goes wrong in their lives...
