Defend our Climate, Defend our Communities

When: Sat., Nov. 16, 12 p.m. 2013

Rally against pipelines, fracking, reckless tar sands expansion and runaway climate change. Organizers ask that you come wearing a rain hat, rain boots, a life jacket. Blue clear ponchos will be provided to everyone. Featuring speakers Prof. Thomas Duck, Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science, Dalhousie University and Catherine Abreu, Energy Coordinator, EAC. Convene at Seaport Market at noon (at the open space in front of the statue of Samuel Cunard on the North side of the building) and march in a procession to Province House (1726 Hollis Street) along the storm surge line that the latest climate change report has projected for the year 2100. All welcome.
