I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at the Carleton. We went for an evening of food and music and we were not disappointed. The dip and bred we had as a started was the thickest dip I've hard in a long time. My main course salmon dinner was fabulous and extremely filling. The dessert blew me away! Plain cheesecake wrapped in phyllo pastry - placed back in the oven to toast the pastry and then drizzled with raspberry coulis - it made the cheesecake the texture of mousse - warm mousse! It was amazing. With the addition of a tea and water my bill was under $40 + $25 for the music - Dave Carroll singing his new solo CD (He is half of the Sons of Maxwell with his brother Don, who also has a solo CD out.)

I look forward to the next show.
