Re: “Dogs are NOT small, four-legged people

If they aren't selling food, I don't see what the problem is. If you don't like it, or have allergies, then take your business elsewhere. Simple as that. I have allergies to big dogs, but smaller ones with hair don't bother me. But you know what? That's MY problem and I don't expect the world to change to accommodate me. If we were talking about a hospital or other publicly funded place or even a grocery store, then your bitch would be valid, but a private retail establishment selling non-food items can do whatever the fuck they want.

Re: “Entitlement, much?

No office worker was that essential last Monday/Tuesday that they had to be out on the roads risking their lives to get to work. My rule is: if the buses aren't running, then I'm not going out and driving on the roads, especially after the police told people to stay off of them unless absolutely necessary. Even essential personnel in hospitals were offered accommodations close to the hospitals to facilitate their attendance at work. So fuck off, OB. I swear the less you pay people the more you expect.

Re: “Why can't we all be friends?

My best friend is a guy. I'd rather DP a splintery stick than fuck him, because it would feel incestuous. So yeah, from my perspective you can absolutely be platonic friends with the opposite sex. Of course, not all opposite sex friends can be platonic, but I think it can happen in a lot of situations.

And if the guy I'm dating acted like the chick in this bitch (the one who reamed out the OB), I'd probably tell him to go find someone else to spend his time with.

Re: “Snoop Dog

Actually, IGROKSPOCK, the person in question probably will get fired, and possibly prosecuted.

NHSA/IWK tracks that shit like nobody's business and it's made clear to employees upon mandatory orientation that it is illegal to look at the medical files of someone you have absolutely no business looking at, and is grounds for dismissal. In fact, employees of both NHSA and the IWK health authorities have to take 'confidentiality and privacy' courses every year and sign a confidentiality agreement that outlines the policy against looking in files you shouldn't be looking at. You can't even look at your own file while at work! You have to go through the same channels as everyone else to get access to your medical files because you cannot be both an employee and a patient at the same time.

So yes, this person will probably get canned.

Re: “Olive branch in one hand and a bloody knife in the other

Hahahaha are you for real? ^^

I dunno, I'd rather trust stats can than the crack team of mathematicians at Frank Magazine.

But maybe that's just me.

Re: “Olive branch in one hand and a bloody knife in the other

Also, to fix some MISinformation regarding the 'average' salary of teachers in NS:

"According to Statistics Canada, the average starting salary in 2013-14 for teachers in Nova Scotia was $56,149. The average salary at the top of the scale was $79,937. According to numbers provided by the province, a teacher's average salary in 2015 was $76,133." Dec 17, 2016

Not really sure where this 'most teachers make 86-135k/yr' nonsense came from. but a simple google search proves otherwise.
