Equality for Women is Progress for All

When: Sun., March 8, 1-4 p.m. and Mon., March 9, 5:30-7:30 p.m. 2015

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2015, the Black and Immigrant Women’s Network is hosting two events showcasing Black and immigrant women who own home-based businesses. While these businesses are making a strong contributions to the local economy, some go unrecognized because the entrepreneurs lack access to networking opportunities. Judge Linda Carvery will deliver March 8’s keynote address and Sarah Young, managing partner of National Public Relations, will speak on March 9.
