The store, which opened on July 3, sells the vintage decoration and furniture finds of owner Robert Goldsworthy along with Cote Bastide bath & body products, local gourmet edibles, paper goods and home wares.
“Everything is going to be changing all the time," says Mark Rhymes, who works at the store. Goldsworthy finds the vintage pieces all around the world, including from markets in France and Spain, will be making sure the stock is current.
There are lifestyle items for all different budgets. Prices range from $5 wine glasses to $250 antique chairs.
“We’re looking to market to south end soccer mom types, offering a getaway from the typical lifestyle,” says Rhymes, but adds that of course the store's products fit with any lifestyles.
Goldsworthy hopes to turn the neighbouring space into a design business for his upholstery work.
