Fancy Pantry and Breads offers home delivery

New artisanal baker Jessica Ross offers quality german-style sourdough breads and hot pie deliveries to downtown foodies.

Peninsula dwellers! Would you like eight weeks of sourdough bread delivery to your door? Sign up with Jessica Ross (halifaxsourdough@gmail.com, 405-9107) and her company Fancy Pantry and Breads. Previous to bread delivery, Ross studied bread-making in Germany---the sourdough will be the German style---and lived on a farm. She’s sold her bread on a stand she set up on Agricola on Wednesdays in the summer. Ross makes all the bread herself, renting a local bakery when it’s empty and delivering the bread on her bicycle around the peninsula. She also makes jams and pies, and you can sign up for pie delivery too. Her next subscription period starts January 6, so get in touch with her before then to get your early-new-year bread delivery. Check out her web page farmcity.csasignup.com to check prices and sign up.
