Re: “I'm Homesick.

Toronto is a bit gross, but Montreal is amazing!!

Perhaps you haven't had a chance to stroll down St Denis? Or to wander through the Jean Talon Market? Or to make your way up and down Mont Royal? Or eat a Schwartz's smoked meat sandwhich? Or party on a Sunday at Picnic Electronique? Or join the beat of drums during a Tam Tam session (every Sunday afternoon at Du Parc)? Or had a beer at Saint-Sulpice Bar? Or had a poutine at le banquise on Rachel Street?

And that's just a start, my friend!

Re: “To the girl who danced on a elevated spot with a short skirt and no underwear

I remember once being at a club (in another city) where this girl was sporting the same look as the girl in the OP's post. Short skirt and no panties, dancing on an elevated spot.

Everyone was snickering and pointing. I don't think the girl had a clue that she was the butt of all jokes.

Pun intended.

Re: “no buskers schedule?

It seems ridiculous for buskers to even put out a schedule. After all, they're buskers. They're sort of known for their ability to grab your attention, even though you weren't planning to attend a random performance on the street.

I think the only way to truly soak in the "busker-ness" of the buskers festival is to just show up and watch whatever is happening at that particular moment. Buskers design their performance(s) to grab the attention of random people walking down the street. If the performance doesn't grab your attention, guess what: bad busker! Move on to the next street performance.

Re: “The elderly abuser

Holy! She slapped an old lady in the face?!

I don't think any level of frustration/angst/anger ever permits one to slap the elderly. That's just not right.

Re: “Why no nice people exist

Good advice from both Three and Jai.

I've been where you are, and can totally relate. In the end, you just have to be selective and reciprocate accordingly. Don't give someone a ride home that wouldn't give you a ride home. That's my two cents!
