Remarks: In our opinion, renovations on student residences should be finished by the beginning of the school year, and certainly before an open house for the public. But they do things a little differently at Dalhousie University. This year’s open house/hot dog barbecue/“Litter Challenge” is going to be carried out in the middle of this mess. Oh, the comedy of students picking up bags of garbage around the neighbourhood just to bring the bags back to the disaster area they call home. You know what? Maybe “comedy” is the wrong word. Martin Gidde did not return our messages, so we can only assume the construction will be wrapped up by exam time. Good luck, kids!
