In celebration of the Occupational Therapy Month, CDHA Occupational Therapy supported by the Occupational Therapy Education Committee is hosting a free viewing of the movie Fixed. This hour-long film is a must see for anyone working or studying in the area of healthcare. Without casting judgement, FIXED eloquently challenges one’s thinking about ability, disability and human enhancement. It accomplishes this using captivating visuals and juxtaposing perspectives ranging in backgrounds from academia, activism and advocacy to bionic engineering, justice and futurism. We are fortunate to have a small panel of Nova Scotian’s who use assistive technology attending the viewing who are willing to participate in a discussion after the film.
