FOOD+ART: A culinary artwalk

Local Tasting Tours takes you to four local art galleries in Halifax's historic downtown, paired with onsite tastings from popular local eateries. Your tour begins at the Mary E Black Gallery at the Halifax Seaport with an exploration of innovative artwork and tastings provided by Fruition (Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market). The route moves along to Barrington Street for a sampling of handmade artisan chocolates by Rousseau Chocolatier onsite at ViewPoint Gallery before viewing the exhibits on display. After a quick walk along Barrington Street, visit the fine folks at Argyle Fine Art and sample various Vietnamese inspired tastings by Indochine Bahn Mi while taking in an array of ecclectic works. The tour wraps up with a guided walk through the many rooms at the venerable Zwicker's Gallery on Doyle Street, with tasty treats to sample from Mezza Lebanese Kitchen.
