Gaelic Milling Frolic

When: Mon., Nov. 3, 1:30-3:30 p.m. 2014

The Textiles Department at NSCAD University is hosting a traditional Gaelic waulking, also known as a milling frolic. A freshly woven length of woolen cloth will be brought through the process of shrinking amidst traditional Gaelic song. The class will be assisted by singers in the Gaelic community of Halifax and Dartmouth.
