It's a brilliant model to not just get people growing their personal art collections but to get the word out about community organizations that could really use some help, and it's hitting Halifax for the first time in hopes of raising 3000 volunteer hours. Stunning works from Sarah Burwash, Natalie Boterman, Rebecca Roher, Daniel Espeset, Claire Seringhaus and 10 other local artists are up for grabs and it's likely you'll to grab all of them, but not until you get goods on organizations like Habitat for Humanity, United Way Halifax, Live Art Dance and The Khyber and what opportunities they've got for you. Then you'll place your bid(s) of up to 100 hours on the piece(s) of your choice and hope for a big win.
