Halifamous Foodies: Dammien Alexander

In anticipation of the opening of the Seaport Farmers’ Market, we asked prominent Haligonians about the grub that gets their mouths watering.

Dammien Alexander (Musician) I’d say Mexi’s on Spring Garden: the enchiladas/Mexican flag plate. The colours of Spanish food have summer all over it. Plus you can use it as an excuse to get into the margaritas, and really, how many excuses do you need for that? I’d say Spanish food is one of my favourites to prepare myself, plus the staple nachos are something people love sharing.
