A whole week of things to do to help celebrate Halifax’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. People of all orientations are welcome to join and there will be lots to do. Dykes vs Divas will start the week off, a softball game between Halifax’s most fabulous in drag and the dykes who are hoping to break their losing streak. It will take place at the Canada Games Diamond at the Commons. The week hits its peak at the 24th Annual Pride Parade on Saturday, July 23, where Canada’s fourth largest pride parade marches from Lower Water Street to Barrington, Spring Garden and finishing off at South Park Street. There are lots of other things to do through the entire week, including seeing Serena Ryder, playing at Casino Nova Scotia.
