Welcome to yet another buddy comedy based on the insulting stereotype that married men are overgrown children stuck in a trap, the prisoners of joyless prudes who get off on denying their husbands pleasure. In this Farrelly Brothers film, Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis are granted a week of extramarital freedom by shrewish wives Jenna Fischer and Christina Applegate. The boys envision seven days of scoring with young hotties, but quickly find that their pickup moves, like their ageing bodies, aren’t so tight. Their adventures are punctuated with mind-numbingly unfunny dialogue and uninspired gross-out gags that basically amount to, “hey, that guy is defecating” or “look, a penis.” Even diehard Farrelly fans will be disappointed in a movie so toxically terrible it should carry a biohazard warning. –Matt Semansky
