Hello, Holy Snappers

Out of the ashes of Cuban Assassins comes a new rock trio.

It was just over a year ago that Halifax's beloved Cuban Assassins called it quits. Since then life went on, careers changed, babies were born and Brent Geikie barely touched his bass. That is until former Assassin drummer Jason Wilson came a-knocking. He had a new project up his sleeve, with Colin Baker on guitar, and he needed a bassist. "I had my reservations because in my head, if I started another project I wanted it to be a total 180 from anything I had done before," says Geikie. "But they played me the songs and I really liked them and that's how this whole thing started." And so became Holy Snappers, which Wilson calls "quite simply a rock band." If this is the line-up for their inaugural show...we can't wait to see what's to come.
