His way or the highway

comment

Dear Coast,

Canadians spend millions of dollars every year travelling to foreign countries. What do we talk about when we get home? We talk enthusiastically about the customs and traditions that we observed in the countries to which we travelled. Are we becoming so hamstrung by political correctness that we are ready to abandon our own customs and traditions here in Canada? In my long life I have never heard a non-Christian complain that he or she felt excluded from enjoying the peace and good will of the Christmas season. Enough of this nonsense! To paraphrase Jack Nicholson, what this country needs is a good enema.

Merry Christmas to ALL.
