Hobo goes Sundancing

Hobo With A Shotgun gets in Sundance and US Distribution

After covering Sundance in sawdust with his short Treevenge in 2009, Jason Eisener is heading back to the land of Ugg boots and duck lips with his new feature, Hobo with a Shotgun, starring Rutger Hauer and some familiar localish faces, such as Rob Wells, Brian Downey, Glen Matthews and Michael Ray Fox. Shot in various locations around Halifax, the film will be part of the festival's Park City at Midnight series, which runs from January 20-30. Be sure to congratulate Eisener on Thursday, December 16, when he hosts Carbon Arc's screening of Gremlins. Just don't get him wet.

Also, weve heard Hobo With A Shotgun will be getting US distribution with Magnet Releasing, the genre film arm of Magnolia Films, previously responsible for getting Let The Right One In, Centurion and Monsters into cinemas in the States. Sounds like a perfect pairing
