Two Planks and a Passion Theatre prove summer isn't over just yet as it delivers the world debut of this play by Gillian Clark. Billed as "a contemporary adaptation of The Trojan Women by Euripides," the play kicks off night of the annual Spring Fire Hall Dance in New Troy, Nova Scotia. "The parents are dancing in the hall, and the kids are playing in the field, as they have every other year. But this year, something is different. Cassandra (Jackie Torrens) has seen the future of her little town, and no one will believe her," show organizers offer. Performed by a roaring fire, you can get showtime details at artscentre.ca.
