A jackalope is a mythical antlered killer rabbit. A Jakalope, on the other hand, is a star-studded industrial pop rock project. The brainchild of producer Dave “Rave” Ogilvie and vocalist Katie B., the record features members of Nine Inch Nails, Monster Magnet, Babes in Toyland and Sloan. The result of this collaboration sounds like Nine Inch Nails if Amy Lee joined the band. It’s good and it’s inventive, but it’s overproduced and tends to repeat itself as the record wears on.
