Jodorowsky’s Dune

When: Wed., Nov. 19, 7 p.m. 2014

Chilean director Alejandro Jodorowsky began his most ambitious project yet in 1975. Casting his young son with the likes of Orson Welles, Mick Jagger, David Carradine and Salvador Dali; with Pink Floyd’s music and provocative artists’ work, Jodorowsky’s adaptation of Herbert’s classic Dune was poised to change cinema forever. Part thoughtful tribute, part bittersweet reminder of opportunity lost, Frank Pavich’s documentary is a fascinating look at a cinematic legend.

Price: $9
