- Have a sexy time at the Everything to Do with Sex Show
When The Everything to Do With Sex Show was first founded in Toronto, Mikey Singer was selling women's shoes. "They were looking for people to work at the info booth," he laughs. "and I was like 'Sure, I want to do anything else but this.'" Singer had such a blast that after he went back to school for marketing, he started a campaign to return. "I wrote an email to the owner of the show every day for two weeks and he avoided me like the plague...and now I'm running it." Singer's persistence led to an overall revamp of the show and with a focus on educational seminars, recruiting the best presenters in the biz and pop culture inspiration, this year is poised to be the biggest yet. "You don't have to look at just Magic Mike," says Singer about Hollywood's sexspirations. "Hope Springs is another one too. They were talking about just getting that spice back in their love life and that's exactly what we do." With a whole bag of new tricks, and still including fan favourites like burlesque performer Roxi D'Lite and the knee-weakening Assassin, there's bound to be something to seduce everyone. "This is for your everyday average person," says Singer. "Say you're nervous about walking into a sex store because people are looking…at the show there's a sense of anonymity, it's a lot easier to do. Besides, if no one was interested in sex we wouldn't be here."
