Letters to the Editor

When it comes to the trials experienced by many people in the world, we in North America live in a self-imposed bubble of denial. This is particularly true for the on-going tragedy in Iraq.

Zoriah is a professional photographer, who, until recently, was embedded with the US Army in Iraq. He lost his embedded status because of a blog posting on a recent suicide bombing that he witnessed. Check out his web site, www.zoriah.net, and determine for yourself whether Zoriah was endangering the troops, or the US military simply wants to keep us in our bubble of denial.

Warning, some of the images are difficult to view. All are amazing, many are tragic.
