During my visit to Halifax for Christmas, I noticed an advertisement in The Coast by the IWK Health Centre.
In the ad, it stated that the Centre is looking for children between 6 and 36 months of age to test a flu vaccine called thimerosal.
Immediately, a red flag went up when I saw this advertisement.
Thimerosal contains mercury, a very dangerous chemical, and because of that it has been removed from other vaccines in the United States. I caution any families thinking about participating in this study, to do a full investigation regarding this substance, before making any commitment to include your child for testing.
I know the pharmaceutical companies are always looking for guinea pigs to test out their drugs and vaccines, but there are in my opinion just too many risks to jeopardize the health of your young children. Moreover, there are new claims emerging that do not support the extensive number of vaccines that the pharmaceutical companies are initiating in their attempts to increase profits.
It is generally agreed that taking any foreign substance in to the body, including drugs and other chemicals, seriously weakens the immune system and can have long lasting, negative repercussions.
