I'm so mad at Metro Housing , who have been aware of bedbugs in Gordon B building for well over a yr. Instead of telling tenants and handling the problem with a total blitz, have been treating one apartment at a time and not telling neighbors there is a problem. They have been chasing the horde from one apt. to the next, at considerable cost to people who have set low incomes, disabilities and are poorly equipped to deal with a monumental job alone. They didn't even spray the halls so the little blood suckers just run from one place to another. The pest truck arrives every Tuesday and Friday like clockwork, not even giving a handout of how to prepare for their visit so the job is poorly done. The last 2 Tuesdays I've sat inside my door to catch the little nasties as they ran in under my door. They are in the pipes, vents and walls, which never get sprayed, how can we fight that? It's time to face up Housing! Put us up somewhere and Blitz the whole place and what about all the furniture we've lost and can't afford more? I appreciate a place to live but just because I've become disabled doesn't mean I don't deserve a clean, bug free place to live. Fed way beyond up!!
