Complain, nag, bitch....will Haligonians ever stop? They don’t seem to realize that there are only 2 reasons why Canada's other major cities have nicer hospitals and public infrastructure; they have more people and therefore they have more money. If Haligonians want to experience similar progress they need to replace their resentment with a behavior that mimics Canada’s other urban centres. We need to take some risks and make an aggressive move. We need to stop protecting our ‘one horse’ heritage if it is hindering our progress and keeping us from creating a new legacy. No offense to Moncton but Halifax is much closer in semblance to Montréal. I look forward to the day when we start being compared to Montréal.

If I was mayor I might put us in the poorhouse but I would sure shake things up!
