This is in response to Tim Bousquet's review of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. Thank you. Sincerely, if you had not written that article, I certainly would have, and my version would have been considerably more obscene. Expelled is one more example of creationist bullshit propaganda. I have no qualms in saying that any professor, or academic for that matter, tenured or not, who feels that it is acceptable to bring unsubstantiated bullshit into the classroom SHOULD be fired. It is ludicrous to think that "Intelligent Design" should be held in the same esteem as evolution. For one thing, not one claim has stood up to scientific examination. NOT ONE. Intelligent Design is one more example of bible thumpers trying to push and shove their way into the classroom to recruit more into their congregation as they suddenly realize their weekly Sunday donations are dwindling with each subsequent generation. This is absolutely unacceptable. In response to the reader who was offended by the term "", well, quite frankly, if you believe that evolution is a myth but suspend your skepticism enough to believe that the universe was created in 7 days (especially for us), then you ARE a bat-shit insane fundamentalist Christian.I am appalled by the anti-intellectual influence wafting north from the bible belt, like the stench from so many outhouses. Those of you who buy into it, congratulations, you're missing out on one of the most exciting times in human history. Fuck you though, we'll just leave you behind.
