Released on Monday, beatboxer 3B explores a new pop-hip hop hybrid sound with his new single, "Switch Up."
Mellow marimba and woodwind back up 3B's (AKA Branden Taylor) plaintive lyrics about some disloyal buster. "This song was inspired by the people in life that are so easy to come and go," Taylor says. "The ones that take your presence for granted but eventually end up missing it."

3B's background is in beatboxing, he placed 4th in 2015's Canadian Championships. "I started beatboxing in the ninth grade," Taylor says. "At first I took my own personal struggles and expressed them through beatbox, I was going around from school to school, province to province, as well as internationally, with a organization called UNITY Charity, helping the youth find and develop ways to express their stress, and develop skills for success, this unfortunately got in the way of my own artistic freedom of expression and after a while the same love I had for beatbox dissipated."

"I found myself lost for a little while, but one day I sat down and decided to just write—how I felt, what I saw," says Taylor. This reflection produced the radio-ready "Switch Up". Have a listen below.
