When: Tue., Nov. 17, 8 p.m. 2009
Luckas Cardona’s CBC Script Award-winning Mr. Happy will be read aloud by professional actors in front of a live audience for the first time ever. In Mr. Happy, Harry Small is an advertising executive working in a socially progressive agency dedicated to publicizing the messages of worthy causes. He is also a short-fused, rage-fueled, egomaniacal, driven, type-A personality. A medical crisis forces him to confront the deficits his tyrannical personality has left in his life and seeks genuine enlightenment from the causes and philosophies he previously only paid lip-service to. Presented by The Linda Joy Media Arts Society.
