Fluoridated water is about as sensible as drinking sunscreen to prevent sunburns . . . if fluoride is so safe, why do all toothpastes that contain it warn you to call a poison control center immediately if you swallow more than a pea-sized amount?? Makes you wonder.

    So, we know her calculation of 5 x 28 = 240 is wrong . . .

    MISS (Strike 1)

She also states half of the figures are female . . . and as we all know, half of 240 is . . . YES, 140! Whaaaaahhh?

    MISS (Strike 2)

Good thing this isn't baseball Jane . . . only one swing left!

At some point, the total number of figures is no longer 240 (which we've already established is wrong) but is now 280 ?! Huh?

    That's it -- STEEEEEEERRRRIKE THREE!

There also appears to be 29 figures per row although I'll cut her some slack on that one.

    She did get a couple of things right though . . . 15% of 280 is in fact 42 and 85% of 280 is 238. YAY! . . . although no one knows where 280 came from . . .

I can only assume the author cleverly and ironically inserted these mistakes to let the reader find math mistakes just like she does--or rather, tries to do!?! Maybe . . .
