Mike

19th century boy

by

Mr. Lancaster is—without a doubt—one of the absolute most consistently best dressed men to grace our HRM streets. Amazing shoes, vests, trousers, ties and sweaters all work together to create Mike’s truly original and old-timey style. Most of his style is from Value Village. I know what you’re thinking—who’s isn’t? Everything Mike is wearing he’s pieced together from Value Village. The vest he has on is the smoothest leather with an amazing silk backing. GET THIS: When I asked Mike what inspired his style he was at a loss to list people who influenced him. I awoke to a gem of an email this morning listing his inspirations. Abraham Lincoln, F. Scott Fitzgerald, western films, 19th century fashion, the 1920s and ’40s and The Fathers of Confederation. This list was enough to kill me as it’s pretty much exactly what I’ve been looking for since I started youlookfiiine OVER A YEAR AGO.
